Two examples of Conductant's continued evolution as a video and performance work. The video is altered and re-edited for each new iteration of the project, forming a kind of animated score for the sound performers to follow and react to. In this live incarnation of Conductant, the moment of performance and the audience's attention brings certain of its themes into sharper focus: the power of suggestion, voluntary self-experimentation, and the rituals of transformative experience.
