Two towers built from overturned plastic beer crates stand opposed to one another across the gallery floor. Each emits the transformed sound recorded from equally opposed iconic Berlin architectural landmarks: the Neue Nationalgalerie by Mies van der Rohe, and Hans Scharoun’s Berliner Philharmonie. Each tower is filled with objects of daily use from the artist’s own studio.
